The club decided this year to have an early cruise to Henley on the first May Bank Holiday.  Inspired by our very early cruise to Windsor at Easter which began rather cold but warmed up later, Linda and I set off on the
Thursday for a leisurely trip up to Henley being joined on the way by Alan and Sue on Rosette and mooring overnight at Cookham, dinner at The Ferry.
We arrived at the Town Moorings in Henley at lunchtime Friday –now £10 per night but free 10am to 3pm.  Ron and Sheridan on Malbec joined us on Saturday.  We all ate out on Saturday evening, with Denise and Roger arriving by car, at a pub in the High Street –The Argyll, which was very good with a good selection of ales.
Unfortunately the weather forecast for the weekend was not good which put off other members, however as is often the case the weather turned out to be good with the exception of the Sunday.  We had a pleasant cruise back on Monday to Bray in bright sunshine.
